Marissa's 5th Birthday Present....

For Marissa's 5th Birthday present I took her to Libby Lu's to get a "princess makeover". She had a fun time transforming into a little princess. We also went shopping for a new outfit and got her pictures taken. She loved being pampered salon style and I had a great time watching her.

Daddy's 34th Birthday.....

Here are pictures from Aaron's 34th Birthday on April 2nd. We spent it with the family by going out to dinner for family style Chinese food and then back to our house for cake and ice cream. We got him a golf net so he could practice hitting golf balls without hitting them at the house or over the house. He FINALLY got around to opening the golf net and setting it up this February (almost a year later).

Easter Sunday 2008.....

Here are some pictures of our Easter Sunday before meeting up with the rest of the family. We hid eggs in our backyard for the boys and they loved it.

They loved it so much that whenever Grandma comes over to watch them, the boys make her hide eggs in the backyard. (we kept a box of the plastic eggs because we felt bad just throwing them away...we're being green!)

We store the box way up high in Garrett's closet thinking they'll forget about it. But, nope, they ALWAYS make Grandma get the step stool and take the box down to hide the eggs. It drives me a little crazy but it makes them happy.

And yes, I know my boys are NOT twins. I'm continuously reminded by my sister that they're not twins, so why do I dress them as twins? Because I can and I like too :) I don't have any girls to dress so I have to dress my boys. I know that someday they won't let me dress them at all. I've got to do it while I can.

Snow Trip 2008 (part 2).....

Here are some more pics of our day trip to the snow. The boys had more fun playing in the snow than riding on the inner tubes. I don't blame them. Some of the hills we found were a little intimidating. That's a picture of me going down a hill right before I hit a bump and fell on my face...I was literally eating snow....not pretty! With the exception of that, it was a beautiful day to play in the snow. Hopefully we can make the time to go again in 2009.
