Holding my bottle all by myself.....

Jake started holding his bottle all by himself in the beginning of June. It makes feeding time much easier for us but it also makes me a little sad. Our little guy doesn't need us to hold him to feed him anymore. He's 9 months old! Where has the time gone? He is getting so big so fast and I can't make it stop. All we can do is enjoy it. I love this little guy.

Brotherly Love.....

Here are some pics of Garrett and Jake spending time in the backyard and sharing some brotherly love. They both LOVE being outside. Jake loves playing with the grass.

The red rider airplane was a gift from Grandpa Brent and Grandma Laurie. Garrett is almost too big for it now but Jake is just perfect for it!

CARS!!!!!........

We took Garrett to the opening of Cars on Friday June 9th. Marissa and my mom came with us too. We took Jake to the babysitter. What a fun movie! Garrett was a little freaked out in the beginning because the volume was so loud. But he settled down and enjoyed the movie (and the popcorn and the candy). I just had to get the kids matching Tshirts. They were so cute!

I got in trouble for taking the picture of Garrett in front of the cardboard cutout (lightning McQueen). Yep, the security guard came over and told me to stop taking pictures because everything is copywrited. He even made me delete one of my pics. I was kinda shocked! Well, I still kept a couple of pics, as you can see. Great movie! You have to go see it!

June Already?....

I can't believe it's already June! I'm still trying to share more pics of our Disneyland vacation. I'm officially behind in blogging. Here you see Jake by the pool at the hotel, Garrett eating a Mickey Mouse ice cream, Garrett dancing in front of Goofy, Garrett riding the carousel with Gina, and mommy with Garrett in Tarazan's treehouse. I have to tell you about the carousel. Gina finally got Garrett to ride on a horse. He usually only likes to sit on the bench on the carousel. Yep, the bench! I don't know how Gina talked him into riding a horse but she did. I think he is over his fear of the carousel horse.

Oh, and the Goofy picture...that is the closest we got to the characters. I mentioned it was a really busy weekend. Too busy to spend our time waiting in line to see the characters. We got to see them from a distance which was fine with the kids. I DID get a picture of Jake and I with Goofy that I'll share later. More pictures to come!
