California Adventures Park....

More pics from our Anaheim Trip. We purchased "Park Hopper" Tickets which means that we were able to go to the new California Adventures theme park. We had never been there before. It's a really cool theme park. Lots of rides and attractions and lots to do for toddlers too. We didn't ride too many rides but we still had fun. The weather was weird. It was hot sometimes and cold sometimes and cloudy then sunny. Again, Garrett had a fun time. It was especially fun because he was there with some of his favorite people in the world (Marissa, Tia, Lito, Lita, Aunt Kathy, Tio, Mom, Dad and Jakey). We all had a great time. Here are some pics of Garrett enjoying some of the attractions for his age group. Can't wait to go back when he can ride the bigger rides.

More Disneyland Pics...

Here are a few more pics from our April Disneyland Trip. Just today Garrett asked me if I "remember Disneyland?" I told him "of course I remember" and we proceeded to talk about all the fun we had. I hope he remembers the trip when he gets older. And I can't wait to go again when both of the boys are old enough to ride everything and enjoy everything. We also want to take them to Disneyworld someday. Did I mention that we went during spring break and the park was sold out? It really wasn't that bad and we still had a great time. Can't wait to make more memories for Garrett and Jake.

Bathtime for Jakey....

We bought the bathtub duck for Jakey so that he feels safe in the bathtub. He was growing out of the little plastic one we used when he was a tiny baby. It doesn't look like he will fit in the duck for very long either.

We used a tub like this for Garrett when he was a baby. When we put Jake in it for the first time, he loved it! He started splashing everywhere. He looks so much like Aaron in the picture where he is sitting in the duck looking at the camera. He has the same smile as Aaron. I love it!

Also, notice Jakey's hair. We are not sure how his hair is going to turn out. It sticks straight up and it's not completely straight. We just can't figure it out! Garrett had a lot of hair but it stayed down. Jake doesn't have a whole lot of hair and when we try to comb it down, it pops right back up. Too funny! By the way, Jakey is already 8 months old.

Disneyland Trip....

We took the kids to Disneyland the weekend after Easter. We went with Nicole's family. We arrived in Anaheim at 7:00pm on Thursday night. We thought about going to Disneyland that night because we bought a 3 day park hopper pass but we decided against it because we knew the next couple of days would be exhausting. We were really excited. I think Aaron and I were more excited than the kids. We relaxed on Thursday night by spending time at our hotel and watching the fireworks.

The fireworks were from Disneyland across the street and we had a great view from our balcony. Garrett doesn't like loud noises so he covered his ears for the show. Jake slept throgh the whole show in his stroller. Garrett loved the hotel, in fact he still talks about it. He calls it a "heltel". He also got used to the elevator. He's never liked elevators very much but he finally got used to riding in this one. He calls the elevator an "alligator". It's funny how he makes up his own terms for everyday things. I'll post more pictures of our trip soon.

More Easter Pics....

These pics are from Easter day. The picture of Garrett by the koi pond is at Uncle Jim and Aunt Kris's house. They have a beautiful, HUGE backyard. They hid eggs for Garrett to find. He had a great time. Can you tell that the weather wasn't the greatest that day? It was a little chilly and it rained a little bit too. It definitely did not spoil the day for the kids. The picture of Garrett and Marissa is at my mom and dad's house.
