Dance Party....

My twin cousins had a 16th birthday party in May. The kids got the party started by jumping on the dance floor and showing off their moves. I can only hope they continue to be carefree about dancing in public and letting loose without a care.

Moonstone Beach (part 2).....

We took these pics on the day we were leaving. That's the little hotel we stayed at. Very charming. The sun decided to come out in full force on the day we left. We had a great time.

Moonstone Beach....

We were able to sneak away one weekend in May to our favorite beach without the kids. Moonstone Beach is so quiet and peaceful. There's nothing to do but sleep and eat and take walks. It's our idea of a perfect little get away. All of the hotels on Moonstone Beach Drive have an ocean front view. We always turn on the fireplace and leave the sliding glass door open. It's very cozy.

After Dinner Stroll......

Another one of our after dinner strolls. This is when Jake was a little unsure of the slides so daddy had to go down with him. Now Jake doesn't think twice about going down by himself. Jake is also a great little climber just like his bigger brother Garrett.

Mother's Day 2007....

I didn't take a whole lot of pictures this Mother's day and I'm not sure why. Usually we do the whole outside picture posing thing. I think I got lazy this year. Here are a few snapshots of some not very good pics. Notice how nobody is looking at my camera except for the one of me and the boys. We spent Mother's day morning at my mom's. We had breakfast and opened presents. We spent the rest of the day being lazy (my idea of a perfect Mother's day!)

Enjoying The Warm Weather.....

These pictures were taken in May when the cooler weather was turning to nice warm sunny days. It wasn't too hot yet and the kids couldn't wait to go outside. We filled up the sandbox with water and of course, Jake got water all over himself. So we stripped him down to his diaper.

Marissa's Birthday Continued....

Marissa's 4th Birthday....

We spent Marissa's 4th birthday at the park with family. The kids had a great time on the playground and playing games with each other. We had pizza and cake and ice cream and enjoyed the nice sunny day.

Speaking of Potty Training.....

So with all the potty training going on in our house right now, I decided it would be a good idea to show Jake the underwear he would eventually be wearing. We pulled out some of Garrett's underwear and Jake immediately thought it was a hat. He wanted me to put them on his head. I couldn't resist taking a picture of him with his new "hat". Garrett and I couldn't stop laughing.
