Easter Day...

Where is the time going? Easter was two weeks ago and I'm barely getting the pics on the blog. I've got lots more to share but I'll have to do it some other time. Easter day was great. We got to spend it with both families. The weather was a little gloomy and it rained a little but we still had fun. If you look closely at the pics you will see that we are all wearing the color orange. It's not a coincidence, it was planned. I thought it would be "cute" for all of us to wear orange and we could take some great family pics. It turns out it was too cold out to take family pics and we were all wearing jackets/sweaters anyway. Oh well, maybe next time!

More Egg-Coloring Pics...

Here are some more pics from our egg coloring night. Daddy helped Garrett color eggs with Marissa while Mommy took pictures. The kids ended up with sticky, blue fingers from the dye. Garrett got a little grumpy towards the end of the night. He had a long day that day and no nap. He gets really grumpy and whiny when he goes all day without a nap.

Egg Concentration....

This is from the night before Easter. We colored eggs at Lita & Lito's house. I love this picture of Garrett. He looks like he's concentrating so hard on how to color an egg by watching Daddy. He had a great time coloring the eggs with Marissa and the rest of the family.

Ready for the hunt....

This is was taken the same day of the Easter Company picnic. We took this picture at Lita & Lito's before heading to the park for the Easter egg hunt. Marissa loves taking pictures. Garrett, not so much.

Garrett's Playhouse....

We all pitched in (Lita, Lito, Frankie, Kathy, Marissa, Mom & Dad & Jakey) and bought this playhouse for Garrett for his birthday. It was finally warm enough to spend the day outside and play in his house. He loves it. I can remember wanting a playhouse when I was little. Garrett loves spending time outside in the backyard. If you look closely in the picture of Garrett in the window, you can see Aaron sitting in the playhouse.

Company Easter Picnic...

We went to a Lito's company Easter Picnic today. (Lito is what the kids call Nicole's dad. It's short for Abuelito which means Grandpa in Spanish). It was finally sunny, a great day to spend at the park. The kids got an early visit from The Easter Bunny. Garrett was excited for the Easter egg hunt. But before the hunt, we had to bribe him to take a picture with The Easter Bunny. We told him that if he took a nice picture he would get to hunt for eggs. This was the second picture that was taken. He didn't smile in the first one. We couldn't get Jakey to look at the camera but the picture still turned out pretty cute!

Happy Birthday Aaron.....

April 2nd was Aaron's 32nd birthday. Besides the fact that we lost an hour of sleep, it was a fun day. We went to breakfast with my family and we had dinner with Aaron's family. We got to eat 2 birthday cakes and lots of yummy food. It was nice spending time with family. Aaron's dad even came down for a visit. Garrett loves it whenever someone has a birthday. He always asks whose birthday we will be celebrating next. He loves a party!
